Der Choreograf Johnny Lloyd hat für EGOCENTRIX über mehrere Wochen intensiv mit den 20 besten Teilnehmern der HipHop Academy Hamburg zusammen gearbeitet. Das Ergebnis vereint Rap, Breakdance, Graffiti, DJing und viel mehr in ungewohntem Kontext. Denn EGOCENTRIX ist kein HipHop-Stück – es ist Tanztheater. Gutes Tanztheater, das die Kunst im HipHop beleuchtet; abstrakt aber zugänglich, frei von Klischees und absehbaren Mustern.
