finally – follow/up is out and about in this strange world

I rarely say this, but: it was a wonderful evening. The reactions to the new material were warm, the feedback sharp and honest. The kind of night you don’t plan, you just survive and love.
follow/up is the second Ur.X album (after „no w here“, 2025). Polyrhythmic beat structures that keep re-setting themselves, contemporary poetry pressed into the machinery, and musique concrète that treats rooms, radio and voices as instruments. Two people in a room, building a machine that misbehaves beautifully.
The record explores communicative breakdown in the post-factual age: floating worlds, exhausted signal, the loneliness between ping and pong. It doesn’t offer answers; it offers good company inside the confusion.
