in/ebriate by phaenos — two long movements, „Dionysus rising“ and „Dionysus as victor“, and about as sober as that suggests. Inspired by the RAUSCH exhibition at Schaufenster, Berlin, 2017, the piece stitches text-collages from Hunter S. Thompson, William S. Burroughs, Ovid, Charles Baudelaire and Lucian of Samosata into sound. Intoxication, in other words, curated across two millennia and mixed accordingly.
