glitching Ansel Adams (series)

“Glitching Ansel Adams” is my way to pay homage to this exceptional artist. These glitches are based on his work in the Manzanar War Relocation Center (a Japanese American internment camp) where he did a photographic essay. It is a limited series, spontaneously created when I first saw these photos for the first time. Ansel Adams is of course widely knows for his landscapes and nature shot. To me these very personal and somewhat political picture have shown me a whole different side of that wonderful artist. But I have no intention whatsoever to glitch his “moonrise” or any other masterpiece for it would make no sense to me at all.
